Downtown Orlando Partnership and Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer will commence Downtown Orlando Food Tours on Wednesday, July 8 at the Downtown Orlando Information Center. Mayor Dyer, along with DOP President Scott Pamplin, will take the “first bite” at this kick-off event.
Downtown Food Tours will be open to the public beginning Saturday, July 11and will take place from 2 – 4 p.m. Tours will run every Saturday thereafter. Guests will walk the Central Business District, visiting some of Downtown’s local favorites sampling everything from oysters to tequila coffee. The tours will showcase the diversity of cuisines as well as rich history that Downtown Orlando has to offer. Founding restaurant partners include Artisan’s Table, Avenue Gastrobar, Ferg’s Depot, the Golden Knife and Le Gourmet Break.
